The plot behind Darpan, Arch & Rajanigandha society has become a catchment area not only during the monsoon but throughout the year due to the drainage line from nearby slums in the Mhatarpada area. Dy. Zonal Head (Upa Vibhag Pramukh) Mr. Prasad Ayare fought to obtain sanction for a dewatering pump from MCGM, and finally, he received the necessary approval last month. A 250 bhp dewatering pump was allotted to be placed there. The pump arrived last week, but the major task was to get it to the affected region, which was not easy due to no direct access.
Mr. Prasad Ayare also given thanks to the Management & residents of Arch Residency who allowed them to take the machine from their premises. They also kindly allowed them to park the machine there for over a week until they could arrange the suitable atmosphere and necessary manpower. Today, around 20 SHIV SAINIKs, including Mr. Prasad Ayare, Shakhapramukh Dayanand Kaddi, Upshakhapramukh Micheal Rosario, Naresh Mestry, and other dedicated karyakartas, were present to move the machine from the building premises to the neighboring plot, which is half a floor below the building premises.
These guys didn’t hesitate and put in tremendous effort to bring down the 2-ton dewatering pump to the plot. Mr. Prasad Ayare at this time express their feelings that incredibly proud of their dedication and commitment to social service. It’s an honor to be associated with such a great service-oriented party led by none other than Mr. Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray & Mr. Aditya Uddhavsaheb Thackeray. Now, I feel my own SANKALP to offer relief to the residents of Veera Desai Road will get fulfilled as the pump starts draining the water accumulated for several years. Finally the pump has started, we will be able to do dewatering during the monsoon & then in month of October we will take major run to dry out the entire plot so that People will be able to live a healthy life, away from the threat of Dengue, Malaria, influenza, etc. Also, the danger of reptiles and snake bites will be minimized.
